Steve James: They started at Roman Hill Senior school went on for a few years during College years. Bob Hammond on Drums, Mick Wren bass, John Van Dyke Rhythm his brother on lead I think and Paul Harvey sax sometimes? Nigel Waters roadies and mixed. Great PA system. I helped Nige a couple of times with the bigger gigs. Played several of the festivals at Gelderston, Bungay etc. Also opened at the South Pier for Altered Images. I’m sure others know more but the practise sessions were fun. I know what the band name means but I’ll let someone in the band explain that.

KH: This is great Steve, a lot to go on there.

Nigel Waters: you're right on with the P.A. Custom built multi horn system. We once played a gig at a pub in Bungay, every time we carried in a horn cabinet each one twice the size of the previous one the landlord went a shade paler. He looked absolutely horrified by the time it was all set up and disappeared during the sound check. I swear that P.A was the start of my tinnitus.

Steve James: I can’t remember where it was but at one place the stage was a reversed ‘E’ shape with Bobs drums on a riser on the central bit.... I walked between the centre and the edge and promptly disappeared into the gap !!! It must’ve looked bloody funny from the crowd!

Nigel Waters: I have a mix down of some live songs on CD with cover photos taken at Flixton Aviation Museum. With the "artist's" permission I could upload it to SoundCloud. We also opened for Huang Chung (Dance Hall Days) once upon a time. Good ow days !

KH: Hi Nigel, not sure on the uplaod side but could i get a reference copy for the Archive? Happy to cover costs.

Kate Langran: My brother was in this band and went on to form the War Party.
