This outfit was essentially the last line-up of The Wild Oats, with additional vocals from Leiston Grammar boy Currie. The band were seen standing in at The Diss Corn Hall in the absence of the advertised Quiet Five. The pick-up act was described as being in the style of Jimi Hendrix. Ex Oat, Trevor Rowland recalls, "I had left The Oats by then, but I remember David from school. He had a great voice, similar to Steve Winwood, unfortunately, he liked his substances and eventually succumbed to them." The band were described as a one-off, but they do appear to have put in a few performances in late 1967.
