Formed from serving USAF personnel based at North Pickenham in August 1956. A majority of the group were from the Southern States, “the home of the true hilly billy melodies” and claimed to play in the traditional style. The only local member appears to be Swaffham businessman Scoggins who played when he could make it. The group were not restricted to their base but played other airbases and the village hall circuit of West Norfolk.
