EEN reporter Steve James told us about this all-girl band fronted by Simcock back in August 1966, only to point out in his column a week later that Simcock was the only female in the group. Audrey & the Blue Notes as they were advertised had a residency at the Cherry Tree Caravan Park, Burgh Castle, Nfk during the summer of 1966. The act sees out the decade, albeit with various line-up changes.
