“I was working at Whitlock Brothers, Gt Yeldham, when Terry, a work colleague, who had been in a band said his group had broken up. I told him my brother played and they got together but didn’t have a singer, so I volunteered my services,” said Colin Woodhouse.

 

Kingston was replaced by Cooper who would later re-join the group as their technician and roadie under the Village Green Road Show banner. “As the band came to an end we changed our name to The Bend and went psychedelic. From there we joined the recently formed Village Green Road Show with my brother Kip moving onto trombone,” added Colin Woodhouse.
