[The Boss-Cats] Batterham introduces us to The Bosscats, “Before I joined the band in 1962, they were a four-piece called Lewie & The Greeks. We then became Lee Bryan and the Bosscats, Lee Bryan was my stage name. Later we shorten the name to The Bosscats, which seemed to fit the trend at that time. The group travelled around in an old van which we christened The Bossvan. We supported quite a few famous bands and singers, at dances and festivals, and did a live performance on Anglia Television in 1963." The band are also noted by Bob Booth as paying a visit to his studio in King's Lynn in July 1964.

"Lee Bryan & The Bosscats were a Spalding based rock band who gigged around east anglia from 1962 to 1973. All of the original band members still live in the local area, I sang lead vocals. We supported quite a few famous bands & singers at dances, festivals, etc. We also did a live performance on Anglia Television in 1963. We did reform for three gigs about eight years ago. It was great fun." JB 2018
