There were a lot of beat bands around in the mid-sixties, so it paid to have a gimmick or two, The Boys clinched it in 1965 by having an average age of 10. Their homemade equipment did not stop the audiences of the Harleston Over 60s Club from appreciating them. A year on the group had re-kitted themselves and were pictured in the EEN having been chosen to appear at The Royal Norfolk Show’s Education Pavilion.
