"The photo (header picture) was taken in September 1990. We were all aged 17 at the time and attending Earlham Sixth Form. The band had been formed in the spring of 1990 and continued through to the spring of 1991. The photo was taken because we were playing a regular Monday night slot at The Vine PH, Dove St, Nch, throughout the late summer and autumn of 1990. We'd arranged to meet a press photographer outside the Vine, but we walked to Pottergate with him to find a suitable place to do "the shoot" and ended up in Bagley's Court, outside a vintage clothes shop I believe. I remember the lady there being quite excited that a band were having their picture taken! I always hated the photo because of my enormous quiff! They say the camera never lies but...! Apart from the Vine we played places such as the King's Head PH, Magdalen St, Nch and The Bystander's Club, Thorpe Rd, etc. We got a lot of our numbers from the mid-60s blues groups, such as John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. We also played a lot of Blues Band tracks. We were very raw but enthusiastic and we had a lot of fun. I've lost touch with the other two members and I'm not involved in the music scene any more. My dad is Brian Crane, once the drummer with The Frontiers." MC 06/12/2020
