"I First started playing at school with Mid (Deviated Instinct) in various local village halls - glamspots such as Ringland! Inspired by the usual suspects - Clash, DK, UK Subs, Chron Gen etc. I had about 5 guitar lessons but that started to feel too much like hard work so it was back to fumbling round the fretboard like an idiot until I sort of got the hang of it. Then Goober started in the mid 80s with my brother Stu and it developed into a way of roaming about everywhere and having a right laugh with my mates." SS27/01/2021
