Cullum and Parker had done their apprentice with The Scramblers SG and many beat bands besides, while Jones had been with the highly popular outfit the swinging Hi Fi’s. Very much aimed at the growing trend in country music, the group later became jaded with the restrictions of the style and in 1968 rejuvenate as Forever Amber.
