This group started out as Johnny R & The Beatroots. According to the EEN the band formed in March 1978. Depsite the band name being advertised as changing to Diller Slo. It's been noted by Vince and Fry that this was never the case and the cause of some disagreement within the band

The band reformed on the 11th August 2007 for a charity gig at  The Woolpack Public House, Norwich to mark 30 years of punk [more details required]
