"The Fen Four line-up was originally the Jakubowski brothers, with a Dave Bignell on bass and Bob Simpson on drums. When Dave and Bob left to join The Tykes, I joined and the boys and quickly taught their little sister Bozena to play bass. We played village halls around Cambridgeshire, and Polish clubs further afield.. We also did the RAF bases sometimes. We eventually changed our name to Various Systems but that didn't last long."
