These pupils of Thorpe St Andrews and Thorpe Grammar school came together in 1963 and started rehearsing in Bob Cannell’s parent garage on St Williams Way. Nick McCartney takes up the story "Bob, Trevor & Roger used to rehearse [unfinished notes]

In early 1965 the group entered The Norwich Mercury beat contest, competing in the final round at the Gala in St, Stephens on 8th of June. The group came a credible second place to the well established outfit Malcolm & The Jetblacks
