GARDEN OF DELIGHTS

Last updated: 19-02-2021

Lead Vocals, Violin: Roger Roji Foyster

Vocals: Angie Thornby-Burt

Bass: Gary Gaz(s) Subasa

Bass: Martin ??

Eastern Pipe: Pragita (Karma Kanix)

Sax, Flute: Cliff ??

Drums: Cary Meadows

After Ton-Ton Taboo Gary Subasa of The Karma Kanix (I am guessing that might be the correct spelling?!) amongst other bands, suggested we form a band which was Garden Of Delights, with Cary Meadows on drums, and Cliff (forgotten surname) on sax and flute. After the unfortunate demise of G.O.D , I then joined Kleo and Alan Rider in Dance Naked, which was a Norwich/ Coventry/ London crossover band." RF 19/02/2021

"Angie was part of the band at one point, Kleo did get into the promo shots although not in the band. There was no guitar, but Gas put the bass through various effects, and I pretty much crucified a poor violin on one track. There was someone who was part of Karma Kanix who played an eastern pipe on a track, I think his name was Pragita (spelling optional!!) The recordings were hit and miss, we did do some tracks at le Jardin Electronique on St.Benedicts Street, others were done at a solitary farmhouse in Seething where we all lived for a while. We did have two bass players at one point but not ever recorded, it was Martin (Plane?), he had played in other bands in Norwich..The Buckets, maybe??" RF 19/02/2021
