GROOBIES, THE

Line-up unknown: Listed as entrants in the 1965 Station Hotel Beat Competition. The competition takes place in the field next to the railway owned by the GER (Great Eastern Railways) in March (The place not the month) and was put on and judged by the nearby Station Hotel. An undated article say’s all the bands were very professional making the final decision difficult with all the competing groups being within a few points of each other.
