Iron Sun were formed in 2010 with an aim to create a full-on Psychedelic Rock show. This was achieved, using liquid wheel projectors, a video projector and a conventional light rig (see attached live photo), as well as an enormous amount of band equipment. This, however, proved to be the band's undoing; after a few very well attended gigs, after which it would be 5am before all the equipment was taken down, packed away and the band getting home, the band decided to call it a day at the end of 2013.

One 4-track EP CD, titled RX/TX, was released in 2013 on the locally-based Gnome label (Cat. No. GNOCD1970). See attached photo.
