Formamation of band - Kevin Eastwood July 2019

"Pete Gibson/David Hales/Kevin Eastwood were a folk trio called HEG, Anthony Hodge and Hugo McGill were a country Irish duo and Jose McGill/Rob Clews/Dave Biddle were rock group called Seven Day Wanda.

I owned the Boulevard takeaway in Great Yarmouth at the time and lots of muso’s came after gigs. I got talking to Hugo one night and invited him to come and jam in the Boulevard, he arrived with Anthony and the three lads from Wanda. We jammed all night and the three styles gelled well, I think we met up a couple of times when I believed Jose came in and told us he had booked us in at The Ship Inn PH, ?? for a gig.

The gig was very successful and became a regular Sunday, when it got to big for The Ship and we moved next door Allens Bar and each Sunday had approx 200 in the audience each week. I have spoken to Rob we think this was about 1992.

Our first album was named the crack and released on cassette. Pete Gibson unfortunately died recently." KE Jul2019
