"Post Toastee was formed in the early 80s by Steve Underwood (Lead vocals) and Dave Kenton (guitar/vocals) They recruited Andy Bull (bass) and went looking for a keyboardist and drummer. They found Michael Cocksedge who was only 15 at the time but up for the task and finally got in Chas Coles on Drums, and Post Toastee was born. Mikes father kindly gave us the use of the carpenters shed at his firm for practices and also provided a van for us as well. Our first gig was a Nurse’s party at the Sugar beet in Bury St Edmunds and from there we got bookings all over East Anglia Regular early morning visits to Red Lodge café on the way back to store our gear in Mildenhall Recorded a single at Le Jardin Electronique studio in Norwich around 83 and it is interesting to see the B side 'Little to Late' is still getting hits on You Tube and has nearly 12000 views. Currently Steve Underwood sings for the Stonkin Blues Band, Dave Kenton plays guitar/vocals Parallel Times – Blondie Tribute also Bohemian Blue Duo and the Dirty Lookz rock band, Michael Cocksedge is bass player for Pure Floyd."
