The band were formed round the unlikely source of Reg Hillier who had previously spent 22 years in the RAF. The only musician paths that could be traced after this article were that of guitarist Brian Lawes and that of Mike Donald. It is not known were this group fits into Mikes tree but with an article on the group being published in December 1960 I think this group formed at the end of his days with The Volcanoes
