"Rhinestone Country were a country band in the mid eighties, a time when country bands and venues were everywhere. We were thought of as one of the youngest country bands around due to members ages ranging from 18 to mid twenties. Two members were from the Dereham area, one from Norwich and the other from Hempnall. We played mainly clubs and holiday centres doing summer seasons supporting well known bands and cabaret acts."
