This namwless group were caught on camera back in January 1957 when the Evening News visited Dereham. The group were rehearsing at Crown Road school

The group became The Vampires Skiffle Group. In June 1957 they entered the Industries Club skiffle competition, and came joint second with The Cygnets of Norwich. The group originally only formed as part of a school variety show, but continued to play for about a year after. Hilton Tait is known to have gone solo in the mid sixties [more information required]
