In 1962 Charlie Marsden replaced the departed Mike Webb. Charlie had started his singing career only 6 months earlier with Yarmouth country outfit Hank Forda. His stay was brief as six months on he had formed The MB3. Peter Pease guitarist with the Great Yarmouth group The Strangers and later of The MB3 remembers purchasing his first guitar from lead guitarist Mick Webb and has a photo of the band playing Gorleston.

NB: We note that Webb was not the guitarist in the band and that Pease might have bought the guitar from Cussins or Ray.
