"I played drums for many Peterborough bands and still constantly playing. I drummed for The Soulmates. Lloyd Watson (Guitar/ Vocals) Les Hill (Bass) Thadius Pee-Wee Fry (Vocals) Al Chishum (Vocals) and also Big Ray sang on some gigs. Later I played with Lloyd's Pocket Edition and Ma Grinders Blues Mission. After this I played with many professional outfits from outside Peterborough. I got married and came back on the local scene. I did many gigs with Lloyd Watson. Then around ten bands later, we are up to date playing with the Glam Rock Tribute Band Glam Slam Glitz. I still love playing and hope to be playing for many more years.The bassist for Pocket Edition was Les Hill for awhile, then another bass player came along, but I've forgotten his name. The Soulmates was not my first Peterborough band. The 1st. one was The Moonbeats. The 2nd. The Country Gentlemen with Cotton Watson on guitar ( No Relation to Lloyd ) the 3rd. was backing gigs with Colin Molyneux, Then came The Soulmates. Hope that helps. Thanks for the enquiry.
