"I began playing the guitar in around 1992-93, I was in my early teens and had just started listening to guitar music, first it was bands like Guns N’Roses and Metallica but the whole US alternative rock explosion is what really inspired to pick up a guitar. I bought some tab books and learnt some songs from those but soon figured out that I could learn by ear, so just started playing along to some of my favourite albums. The first time I played in public was the very first Kunk “gig”, which was jam night at the Brickmakers, Dec 2003 I think." JD05/08/2020
