"Following a couple of wins at Talent Competitions at The Talk of the East, vocalist Billy Anger (formerly of indie pop band The Tall Boys), Paul Brooks, aka 'Billy Anger' worked with the late Billy Fury's backing band, The Hayley Brothers, opening for such acts as PJ Proby and other 60s greats. His Paradise Records (Norwich Independent label) release of "It's Only Make Believe/Hippy Hippy Shake' led to management from famed 60s impressario Hal Carter. The 'Boogie Brothers,' who backed Billy both live and on the record, consisted of former Tall Boys bassist John Barton, guitarist Stuart ?, Drummer Malcolm Fish." PB 03/01/2021
