"I started playing guitar and singing in 68 and then seriously with my good buddy Rodney Parish. We formed a band in 1971 called The Friends with Mac McKay on bass and Brian Langham on drums! This lasted for a couple of years. I was then asked to join Kangaroo Alley with Chris Hawkins, Simon Barley, Brian Reece the group had various lead singers overtime, notably Terry Davison and then the multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Mike Colman. We played shed loads of gigs from 1977 through to 1979 all over the East of England and London." PW24/02/2020
