"I lived in Walcott on the North Norfolk coast and other 3 in Bacton, 'Beat' groups were the in thing then and there were many at that time as you know. Bacton had a youth club at the village hall run by the lead guitarist 's father, and we played a few dances at the hall, but I left to join the Army in 63 and stationed in West Germany I played in two groups The Lawmen and The Gentlemen only claim to fame played in Hamburg and top of the bill was Screaming Lord Sutch and The Savages ! anyway sport took over I joined the Regimental Ski team and eventually represented GB at the Winter Olympics 1968 at Grenoble, France, in the Biathlon event [ 16th out of 60 ] Bought myself out of the Army the same year later joined Surrey Police in 69 then Cambs in 73. Left police in 95. In 1996 took up playing the keyboard and since then [ I'm 76 now] where ever I've lived have played and sang to the locals and afar all the old stuff 30s to 60s, and love it and may it continue. Play by ear and I possess a Yamaha Tyros 5 keyboard." RB30/03/2022
