MANOR HOUSE PUBLIC HOUSE, THE - DRAYTON RD

First licenced in 1927. Damaged by enemy action on 27th & 29th April 1942. The public house held beat nights in the 1960s and continued to put on music nights until it closed in 1993. It was renamed Maxwells in March 1984 after a refurbishment. The public house was closed in 1993 and demolished at the end of 1995. A super market stands on the site today.
