Aunties Room promotion nights were started in June 1965 by Eric Welsh of Norwich's Bedford Beat Spot held at The Bedford Arms Public House. The Raiders from Bury St Edmunds played the opening night. It appears the club did not last long. A later club was tried at the hall by Dereham promoter Brian Cross but these were also short lived.
