The lease for the South Pier Pavilion was taken on by Geoffrey Watling in the late fifties and saw the venue in tandem promotions with the Samson & Hercules in Norwich. Music was mainly promoted in the summer season.

 

The first public dance at the rebuilt South Pier Pavilion under proprietor Geoffrey Watling was to the sound of Geraldo & His Famous Orchestra & Singers on 3 March 1956.

 

In 1967 the pier was advertising The Nautilus Club c67

 

In the late sixties the South Pier Pavilion promoted The Popsters Pavilion c68
