Formed at the Sprowston Youth Club, Cannerby Lane, Nch around March 1967. Most members had played in a host of starter outfits and only lead singer Davison appeared to be making his debut. Leeds had been in Lynx, Langham in Domini, Cossey in Us and Dimitri in No Strings Attached. The band were pictured in the EEN on 11 May 1967 in an article about the youth club. The band had already changed by this point with guitarist Dimitri joining Norwich group Eyes of Blond in April. Drummer Langham left in June 1967 to complete the new Norwich trio Music Hath Charm. The group's name came about after an early jam session when someone commented “You ought to be a band” which was interpreted as Audio B Band. The band did make it onto the live scene but soon scattered, Leeds to Impi, Barrett to Blue Street Soul, Cossey to The Lew Day Trio and Davison standing in on occasions for the singer-less Feel For Soul
