FB Comments re holding picture.

Tony Coe: L-R Pete Carney, Bass, Lionel Kingham, Tenor Sax, Silkie, Guitar, Hans Herbert, Drums, Geno, Vocals, Dave Greenslade, Hammond Organ, Clive Burrows, Baritone Sax. (Not the original band).

John Smith:Thats not herbie its hans herbert

Tony Coe: It was his nickname.

John Smith: tbh ive never thought about hans being known as herbie.makes sense i would say

Tony Coe: Yep!

Kevin Claxton: Where is Peter Gage who started the band? Later with Dada and Vinegar Joe

Tony Coe: Peter was in the original band which he formed, this not the first line-up. Peter now lives in Australia.

Peter Carney: OK just to put this to rest ???????? the original drummer was Les Prestidge which we all called Herbie (for the life of me I do not know why) but we did. then Hans Herbert took over on drums. Hans and myself have known each other from way back when we were 17 years old and played together in various groups. Unfortunately Hans has succumbed to PARKINSON'S and at first. finding it hard to walk ( for a drummer this must be devastating) he is now loosing his eyesight. This has happened over the last four year period. It would be so kind if anyone reading this post could send Hans J Herbert s J Herbert a message appreciating his contribution to the RAM JAM BAND history.

Hans J Herbert: thanks for your kind words Pete

Peter Amos:
Hi there Hans.
Sorry for the 'Herbie' mentioned in my comment ( I'm feeling a bit of a twit)
I think things get a tad skewed over the years.
I found this piece mentioning your good self and Geno, guess that's where I've tripped up.
I feel privileged to be mentioned on the same page as yourself Hans.
To be sure The Ram Jam Band were a force to be reckoned with!! The relentless drive and pace was just brilliant....
All the very best matey.
There are a few more mentions in an article about the all night workers
Think there are 5 separate parts......
