We don’t have a full line-up for this group, however, when we spoke to Harry Rix then living in France, he did recall the band but could not remember any details other than it was probably his very first band and most likely existed between 1962 and 1964. Harry who is known for his drumming in later outfits such as The Steve Gibbons Band, Terraplane and locally Skinn and Eyes Of Blond, had started as a guitarist and singer. He added that The Broadways may have become the first line-up of his next group The Phantoms Four although once again he could not be sure. Later interviews with Michael Elliot of The Caste says although he does not recall the groups name, he was in a band with Harry around this time before moving on to join The Mandans.

Harry Rix has now passed away.
