According to Meeks book this group where put together by Paul Chris who at the time (c1965) was getting far to many bookings for his band and decided to put together another group to cover the short fall. Meek says the group only lasted about a year but was a life saver after the split of The Sabres who had bank everything on the group breaking after their success in Hamburg.
