"The SexToys were originally a 3 piece set up by myself, Day (ex Crabs,Splodge and many other minor punk bands) and Niall Grimmer (ex Jade Veil, The Tony Rouse Band) Grimmer was very unreliable and left so we then used an old mate David Webb aka Teddy, 'cause his dad owned a soft toy factory over Harfreys Estate. We formed in Great Yarmouth over a few beers in a pub in the mid-90s. Tony had been working offshore with a mate called Lemon who was desperate to join. We started a new band with Lemon (Darran George) called The Rock & Roll Geezers. Still around today with Darran as The Geezers. Tony and I have long since left both bands and drifted apart. I set up a new version of The Sex Toys as a five-piece several years later playing mostly old punk classics and some original songs, we did several gigs but due to lack of work in the area we soon all went our separate ways. Our biggest gig was around 1998 supporting T-Rextasy at the Ocean Rooms, Gorleston." MS 25/03/2020
