Fresh out of [school required] school the boys had witnessed a gig by The Downhomers, whilst on holiday at [holiday camp required] the group featured a very young Lester Middleton and Pat Wood. Captivated by what they had seen it wasn’t long before they had all acquired guitars.

A rhythm section was soon required and Angus became the drummer. The band first played at the Flagcutters in Frettenham [confirmation required]
