A tale of two bands under the same banner. The Unit Four were first formed by [details required] in [date required] a majority of the band had formerly been performing under the name The Epics
In September 1964 the band signed a contract with Peter Ekhorns, ?? agency for a months residency at the Top Ten Club, Hamburg, Germany. After spending the whole of August, 31 consective nights to be exact the band returned exhausted but hoped to return
The offer of a return visit came in December and although an attractive offer taking in more venues and . It wasn't enough to entice any of the band to quit their full time job.
